Upgrade Candidates Report
The Upgrade Candidates report is particularly useful in identifying subscribers who are regularly maxing out their current plan and would benefit by upgrading their capacity to a faster tier of service. Be sure to include them in your next campaign for bringing awareness about alternative plan offerings that would make for a more enjoyable internet experience.
This report offers marketeers a view of critical statistics, including the number of subscribers per each speed tier, and a detailed table showing subscriber's current experienced upload and download speeds, plus experience scores and an indicator of feasibility for upgrading to a faster plan. When selecting an individual subscriber from the table, a chart appears showing the current tier to which they are subscribed to alongside potential tiers to which they can upgrade.
The data from the charts and the table can be viewed on screen or exported in various formats to your local drive to be consumed offline.
Navigation
Follow these steps to access this report...
-
Select the
(Promote) icon from the left navigation bar.
-
Select Upgrade Candidates from the series of rounded buttons across the top of the page.
The resulting page displays the following three tiles:
-
Speed Tiers: A circular chart that groups subscribers by plan type.
-
Upgrade Tiers: A bar chart showing the current tier to which a selected subscriber is subscribed, along with potential tiers to which they can upgrade.
-
Upgrade Candidates: A detailed table with a row for each subscriber showing current experienced upload and download speed, experience scores and an indicator of feasibility for upgrading to a faster plan.
The content of each of these tiles is described in detail in the following sections.
Speed Tiers Chart
In the upper-left tile, the Speed Tiers tallies up your subscribers and groups them by currently subscribed speed tier.
Each segment on the circular chart represents a different tier and is expressed in a different color. Refer to the legend below the chart to find the significance of each color. Hover your mouse over any colored segment in the circular chart to reveal the details about that speed tier.
You can interactively customize the chart to display only the color slices/categories of your choosing. Select the text in the legend to toggle each slice/category off (legend color dot will be gray) or on (legend color dot returns to the designated color for that category).

The Upgrade Tiers chart is blank until an individual subscriber is selected from the Upgrade Candidates table at the bottom of the screen.
The subscriber's existing package is shown in dark blue on the bar chart. The alternate tier offerings are shown in teal blue.
